Community Service |
ACQG members participate in many community projects. We have contributed quilts to St. Mary’s Children’s Home, Project Linus, Ronald McDonald House and Victory Health Clinic. Members have provided educational programs for schools, museums and historic homes tours. Guild members can choose to support the Child Advocacy Center and the Springhill Avenue Methodist Church food basket. |
ACQG presents a major show ever other year. Recent shows have featured over 300 quilts created by Guild members, as well as special exhibits of antique quilts and touring national collections. Our next show will be held June 2009. The Azalea City Festival of Quilts is the premiere showcase for quilts and quilt makers along the Gulf Coast. |
